Dr Rana was born in London and has lived in Essex for most of her life attending Woodford County high school before completing her dental training at Liverpool University. Dr Rana graduated in 1993 with an honours degree, coming top of her year and was awarded the University Prize in Oral Surgery as well as the Maclean's Prize in Orthodontics.

Upon graduating she joined a large private practice in Hertford as an associate dentist where she gained valuable experience in oral surgery, restorative and children's dentistry. Dr Rana has earned a strong reputation for providing gentle family dentistry and outstanding customer service. In March 2022, Dr Rana made the decision to semi-retire, and sold the practice to our new Principal Dentist, Dr Mehta. She will continue at Forest Dental for the foreseeable future.

Dr Rana is passionate about providing the best quality of service to her patients and keeps up to date with the latest advancements which enables her to offer the most up to date techniques, materials and technologies available in the world of dentistry.

Away from the practice, Dr Rana is married with two children and lives in Woodford Green. Her other interests include keeping fit, reading and travelling.
